Five imaging modalities, all reported by named Consultant Radiologists — with fast turnaround and results sent directly to you and your referring doctor.
The gold standard for soft tissue assessment. Uses magnetic fields and radio waves — no ionising radiation. Essential for pelvic, neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiac and cancer imaging.
Rapid, highly detailed cross-sectional imaging using X-ray technology. Excellent for chest, abdomen, pelvis, vascular and oncological investigations.
Safe, radiation-free real-time imaging using high-frequency sound waves. Used widely for abdominal organs, gynaecology, thyroid, vascular assessment and musculoskeletal soft tissues.
Fast, high-quality digital plain radiography for the skeleton, chest and abdomen. Reported only by a Consultant Radiologist — unlike many other healthcare settings.
Fluoroscopy is a specialist form of X-ray imaging that produces moving, real-time images. A contrast material is used to outline parts of the digestive or urinary tract that are not clearly visible on ordinary X-rays.
Every scan is personally reported by a named Consultant Radiologist. We do not use registrars, radiographers, or remote / outsourced reporting services to report your images. The Bristol Medical Imaging consultant whose name is on your report reviewed your scan.
Please note — areas we do not cover: We do not provide imaging of the breast and neurological imaging (CT or MRI of the head). Whilst we perform general radiology including reading and reporting plain film musculoskeletal X-rays (such as the spine, shoulder, and knee), we do not provide musculoskeletal CT or MRI imaging. If you are unsure whether we can help with your particular scan, please contact us before booking.
Most patients are seen within days of referral, not weeks or months. We understand that uncertainty and waiting are difficult, and we aim to minimise both.
Unlike many private imaging providers, every report here is produced by a named Consultant Radiologist with subspecialist expertise — not an outsourced service.
Our reports are written to be understood — by the patient, their GP, and their specialist. We avoid unnecessary jargon and clearly state our conclusions and any recommendations.
