Dr Shoba Philip MBBS FRCR
Consultant Radiologist, Southmead Hospital, Bristol, since 2012. Worked as a physician in South Wales and Bristol, attaining Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2003. Shoba trained in Radiology in Bristol, then obtained a Fellowship in abdominal and pelvic imaging from the University of Toronto in 2012.
Shoba is a general radiologist with particular expertise in gastro-intestinal, hepato-biliary and gynaecological imaging (including trans-vaginal ultrasound and MRI).

Dr. Michael Darby BA MBBS MRCP FRCR
Mike trained in Cambridge and London, qualifying in 1984. His radiology training was based at St George's Hospital, London and he took up a Consultant Radiology post at Southmead Hospital, Bristol in 1994.
Mike performs a wide range of radiological examinations and has special interests in chest imaging, nuclear medicine and the investigation of patients following bariatric surgery.

Dr Paul McCoubrie BSc(Hons) MBBS MRCP FRCR Med
Graduated from St George's Hospital Medical School, London in 1996, he trained as a radiologist in Sheffield and Bristol. In 2004, Paul was appointed a Consultant Radiologist to North Bristol Trust. Having a strong interest in medical education, he has since become Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Bristol, Training Programme Director for the Severn Deanery School of Radiology, and a Royal College of Radiologists Examiner.
His specialist interest is in body imaging with ultrasound, nuclear medicine (including PET), CT and MRI. Paul has subspecialist interest in advanced non-invasive MRI techniques to detect early prostate cancer. He is also an accredited expert in CT colonography, with experience of over 1,000 cases.

Dr Mark J Thornton FRCP FRCR
Consultant radiologist at North Bristol NHS Trust, appointed 1998. Mark graduated from The University of Bristol in 1987 then underwent postgraduate training in Bristol. Mark is an honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Bristol and Deputy Head of Training in the Severn Deanery Postgraduate School of Radiology.
Mark is a general radiologist with particular interests in imaging and interventional techniques in vascular and urological radiology.
Mark is a member of The British Society of Interventional Radiologists, The Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe and the British Institute of Radiology and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London plus the the Royal College of Radiologists.

Dr Ali Reza Vosough MD FRCR
Dr Vosough is a general radiologist with a special interest in imaging the abdomen and pelvis.
Ali trained as a radiologist in Scotland, then did a two-year Fellowship in Imaging of the abdomen and pelvis at University of Toronto, Canada. Ali has worked as a Consultant Radiologist at North Bristol NHS Trust, Southmead Hospital, since 2014.
Ali is experienced in performing ultrasound scans and fluoroscopy investigations, plus interpreting CT and MRI scans in a wide range of benign and malignant urological, gastro-intestinal, hepato-biliary and pancreatic conditions.

Dr Douglas Kopcke MBChB FRCR
Dr Kopcke is a highly accomplished and dedicated Consultant Radiologist at Southmead Hospital, North Bristol NHS Trust. He graduated from the University of Manchester in 2009 then underwent postgraduate training at Imperial College London and a clinical fellowship in Uroradiology at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Douglas is a specialist uroradiologist plus a classically trained general radiologist. He has a particular interest in MRI prostate imaging, penile imaging and complex pelvic imaging.
Douglas is also the Radiology lead for the South West UK Prostate Working Group, coordinating regional strategy improvements in prostate imaging and management.
