Five Consultant Radiologists delivering swift, high-quality MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, and X-ray scans from two of Bristol's leading private hospitals.
Your scan will be personally reported by one of our five Consultant Radiologists based in Bristol — never by a locum doctor, radiographer, or an outsourced radiology service.
Detailed soft tissue imaging using magnetic resonance — no radiation involved. Ideal for musculoskeletal, pelvic, neurological and cancer staging.
Rapid, detailed cross-sectional imaging using X-ray technology. Excellent for chest, abdomen, vascular and oncology investigations.
Safe, radiation-free real-time imaging using sound waves. Widely used for abdominal, gynaecological, vascular and musculoskeletal assessment.

Our consultants hold subspecialist fellowships in several areas of advanced imaging, allowing us to offer diagnostic depth that goes beyond general radiology.

Your scan is supervised and reported by a named Consultant Radiologist who are all Fellows of the Royal College of Radiologists — not a junior doctor, not an outsourced reporting service, and not an AI algorithm.
We are an independent medical partnership owned and run by five doctors, not a large corporate firm. That means direct clinical communication and radiologists who are personally invested in the quality of every scan they report.
Ask your GP or specialist doctor to refer you to us. A referral from a doctor is always required before we can accept a booking. We are unable to accept self-referrals - which is good medical practice done in the best interests of our patients.
Spire or Nuffield Hospitals Bristol will usually find you an appointment within days, not weeks.
Your scan is personally reported by a Consultant Radiologist and sent securely to you and your referring doctor.
MRI and CT scanners are powerful tools but not always the right first step. Your doctor can first examine you and work out what is likely to be causing your symptoms. Often the most appropriate investigation is not a complex scan but a straightforward blood test, X-ray, or a period of watchful waiting. If a scan is needed, your doctor can ensure it is the right type of scan of the right part of the body. A self-referred scan risks you paying for imaging that doesn't answer your question, or missing the investigation that would. Modern scanners are so sensitive that they frequently pick up things like harmless cysts or minor variations that would never have caused you any trouble. Studies of whole-body scanning have found incidental findings in roughly a third of people. Each of these discoveries can trigger further scans, specialist referrals, and occasionally invasive procedures such as biopsies - often to confirm nothing was wrong. Your doctor's referral provides important clinical context that keeps this in check.
Every scan is reported by one of our five highly experienced Consultant Radiologist doctors, who all hold senior NHS positions at Southmead Hospital, North Bristol NHS Trust, alongside their private practice.
We practice at two of Bristol's leading private hospitals, offering convenient access from across the city and surrounding areas.
We are Consultant Radiologists who perform clinical work at these hospitals — but are independent of these hospitals.
